Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh with The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on April 30, 2013 in Windsor, England. President Sheikh Khalifa begins a State visit to the UK today, the first for a UEA President in 24 years. Sheikh Khalifa will meet the British Prime Minister David Cameron tomorrow at his Downing Street residence.
According to the daily mail today was the Queen’s first outing since her illness. I’m SO happy that she is getting better. I know I’m not alone when I say that I want her around for many more years to come.
The Queen was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Cambridge on a visit to Baker Street Underground Station to celebrate the 150th aniversary of the London Underground. The Duchess was presented with a Baby on board! badge.
